The Federation is the peak representative body for co-operatives in New South Wales.
A co-operative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social and cultural needs and aspirations, through a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.
The inaugural SBA Lecture INVESTING IN ALTERNATIVE ECONOMIC FUTURES was delivered by Dame Pauline Green, President of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) on 15th March 2010 at Parliament House, Canberra.
